For those not aware, the H2 is Kawasaki’s go-super-duper-fast-in-a-straight-line bike. Its more expensive, de-limited brother, the H2R, has 300hp. That is literally twice the power of my bike.
Holy shit, this thing looks incredible. It looks like a spaceship and sounds like one too. While the supercharger wasn’t audible during parking-lot revs, it did result in a little chirrup of escaping air when you let off the throttle. The sound is unmistakable.
The bodywork is mostly black chrome, and the frame and a few accents are metal-flake green.

Will this thing finally dethrone the ‘Busa?

The ‘Busa hasn’t been terribly relevant for a number of years. The H2R is the first bike since the Busa not to have the 186mph limiter on it from the factory, however, so it will conceivably be the new top speed king.

I was wondering where the headlight was …. weird.

Ah, gotcha. Maybe my mind is still in 2005 when there were loads of vids of streetracing ‘Busas floating around.

It’s pretty cool. I respect it for what it is. I still think it’s a letdown from the initial hype. I get that it’s not the H2R, but it’s power figures just aren’t all that crazy for an n/a bike to achieve.
Will be curious to see some testing numbers.

Most of those were sent to early graves with a few being reborn with stretch kits, and a massive rear tire.
